Meet Shirl
I am a licensed Cosmetologist of 40+ years. I am the Director at The Academy Esthetics and Nails. I started my career as a Hair Stylist and a Salon Owner. As time moved on, I began to develop an interest in Esthetics and Nails and this interest grew into a fervent passion. I brought this passion to The Academy where everyday I work to help my faculty and my students reach their maximum potential.
Our students come from all walks of life and are welcomed in to The Academy with open arms. They are the light of the school! I cherish the moments I have with them, watching them grow from shy novices into confident and self-assured Estheticians or Nail Technicians.
